• Security Installation Technician (Access Control) Immediate Openings, People Focused Team!
Full Time Pays $35.00 - $45.00 per hour Location: Framingham, MA 95% with occasional travel as needed
SUPERIOR Communication Services is growing and we're looking for motivated, dependable Security Installation Technicians to join our team. If you have experience with security systems/access control and you want a company where your skills matter, this is the place for you.

Duties
  • Install, test, and commission commercial security systems
  • Roughing in, terminating, and testing copper cabling. Fiber termination experience is a plus
  • Installing pathway supports such as j hooks and ladder trays
  • Servicing/troubleshooting network cabling in a commercial environment
  • Installing closet hardware including backboards, connecting blocks, racks, patch panels and fiber enclosures
  • Perform installation of security related equipment for commercial industries, including installing, testing, and commissioning door hardware & camera systems
  • Willingness to travel to national job sites as needed

Skills
  • Strong understanding of computer networking principles related to security systems and remote access software.
  • Mechanical knowledge for installing hardware components such as sensors, locks, CCTV cameras, and alarm devices.
  • Experience working as a service technician in security or telecommunication fields with a focus on low voltage systems.
  • Knowledge of security system components including CCTV cameras, sensors, alarms (fire alarm systems), IDS devices, surveillance equipment, and locksmithing basics.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
