The work schedule features shifts from Monday to Friday, specifically from 2 PM to 8 PM, allowing you to maintain a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete therapeutic process for an assigned caseload, collaborating closely with physicians and the broader patient care team.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop and implement personalized care plans that focus on achieving rehabilitative goals and enhancing patient engagement.
  • Provide both direct physical therapy and supervision of therapeutic interventions, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive support throughout their recovery.
  • Carry out evaluations and treatment methodologies in alignment with established laws and professional ethical standards to drive positive patient outcomes.
  • Assess the progress of patients’ therapeutic and functional statuses, adjusting care plans as necessary to optimize recovery results.
  • Administer purposeful and skilled therapeutic care in a variety of settings, including at-home therapies, utilizing specific techniques to facilitate functional improvements as detailed in the physicians’ treatment plans.
  • Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on exercises, therapeutic equipment, and practices essential for continued rehabilitation outside of therapy sessions.
  • Prioritize your caseload effectively, coordinating daily staffing needs while ensuring seamless hand-offs within the care team.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At C.A.R.E. Physical Therapy, our orthopedic therapists work primarily with patients recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to impact a varied patient population, including both adults and children, providing tailored therapeutic experiences that promote healing and enhance quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license to practice in the state of Oregon.
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of your start date.
Preferred Experience
  • While no prior experience is necessary, previous work or internships in a physical therapy setting will be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with orthopedic rehabilitation practices is a plus.
