Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at C.A.R.E. Physical Therapy, located in Salem, Oregon. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional rehabilitation services to our diverse patient population. You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients experiencing mobility issues due to injuries, surgery, or other health-related conditions.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. You will be part of a collaborative team of healthcare professionals dedicated to delivering exemplary patient care. This position requires a flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs, including working from 2 PM to 8 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the entire therapeutic process for an assigned group of patients in collaboration with physicians and the patient care team.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans that focus on achieving realistic rehabilitation goals and enhancing patient engagement.
  • Deliver and oversee the provision of physical therapy interventions throughout the continuum of care, ensuring all practices remain within the legal and ethical guidelines of the profession.
  • Evaluate and assess patients' therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status to inform the development of comprehensive care plans.
  • Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, the proper usage of equipment, and methods for continuing therapy outside of sessions.
  • Prioritize patient caseloads, determine staffing needs, and coordinate patient care assignments and transitions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at C.A.R.E. Physical Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient base, including children and adults undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain management. Your expertise will directly impact their journey to recovery and improved mobility.

Qualifications
  • A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in Oregon.
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Experience
  • While no prior experience is required, any hands-on experience or internships in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and rehabilitation software is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
