Job description

Description:

WE ARE

The Chatham Inn, Cape Cod’s only Relais & Châteaux and Forbes Five-Star hotel, is a luxurious boutique hotel with 18 guest rooms that blends the soul of a historic inn with modern decor and amenities, along with Cuvee, our fine dining restaurant and wine bar. Named as one of the Top 20 Hotels for Best Service in the United States and Top 20 Most Romantic Hotels in the United States, Chatham Inn Relais & Châteaux has been rated the #1 Hotel in Chatham, #1 on Cape Cod, Top 50 Hotels in the United States, one of the Top 1% of all Hotels in the World, and one of only 340 Forbes Five-Star hotels in the world.

Cuvée Bistro at The Chatham Inn is evolving into a relaxed, approachable coastal bistro with Mediterranean and French influences. We are moving away from a traditional fine-dining model toward something more vibrant, welcoming, and community-driven — while maintaining the polish and standards expected of a Relais & Châteaux and Forbes-recognized property.

OUR CULTURE | Individual Distinction, Collective Soul

At Noble House Hotels & Resorts, our philosophy emphasizes "location, distinction, and soul." Our properties are not a "one-size-fits-all." And neither are our team members. We are a group of individuals that share a passion for hospitality. We let our personalities shine, and we like to have fun.

A day in the life...

The Dining Room Server plays a central role in creating this experience. This is not stiff fine dining. This is confident, knowledgeable, warm hospitality. We are looking for individuals who understand that luxury today is about authenticity, comfort, and connection — not formality.

What This Role Looks Like:

Guest Experience

  • Deliver warm, genuine, and confident service — professional but never pretentious
  • Guide guests through a seasonal coastal bistro menu featuring pasta, grilled dishes, shareables, and locally sourced ingredients
  • Create a dining experience that feels lively yet relaxed
  • Build relationships with both hotel guests and repeat local clientele

Menu & Beverage Knowledge

  • Develop strong knowledge of: Seasonal menu ingredients and sourcing; Three-ingredient simplicity and clean flavor profiles; and Allergen awareness
  • Support a wine-forward beverage program that is thoughtful but not intimidating
  • Comfortably describe wines by the glass and bottle
  • Make pairing suggestions that feel conversational, not scripted

Service Style

  • Execute refined but approachable service standards
  • Maintain proper pacing for both lunch and dinner service
  • Treat the dining room, patio, and bar as one cohesive Cuvée experience
  • Ensure the space feels energetic, clean, and welcoming

Team Culture

  • Participate in daily pre-shift education
  • Support team members to maintain flow during high summer volume
  • Contribute to a positive, hospitality-first culture

(Please note: We do not sponsor or employ individuals for this position who are employed under another location’s H-2B visa program. This role is not eligible as a second job for individuals currently employed under an H-2B visa elsewhere, as such employment would not be authorized under federal visa regulations.)

Requirements:

Who you are…

  • Passionate about food, wine, and genuine hospitality
  • Comfortable in an upscale yet relaxed dining environment
  • Strong communicator with emotional intelligence
  • Able to read tables and adjust energy accordingly
  • Professional in appearance and demeanor
  • Available to work weekends and peak summer season

Previous experience in upscale, bistro, or wine-focused environments preferred.

Wine knowledge or certification (WSET/CMS Intro) is a plus, but enthusiasm to learn is equally valued

We’ve got you covered… At The Chatham Inn, we are proud to offer our team members the best perks and benefits.

  • State Health Insurance; Company Dental and Vision; 401K - Contribution and Matching
  • On Demand Pay- your pay before payday
  • Team Member/Family/Friend home and restaurant discounts within Noble House Hotels & Resorts (nationwide)

Noble House Hotels & Resorts are proud to encourage and support an environment where everyone can be a successful team member (come as they are) as their true authentic self. We are an equal opportunity workplace and employer that does not discriminate based on race, color, disability, gender/sex, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, age, veteran status, or any other protected status. We are committed to building a team (rooted in family) and a workplace where we are all able to be successful based solely on our individual qualifications, experience, abilities and job performance.
