Job description

Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and creative Motion & Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will create high-quality visual content across all mediums while bringing a marketing-minded perspective to their work, understanding audience, intent, and impact, not just execution. This role supports brand storytelling, campaigns, and digital presence through thoughtful, effective creative.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design and produce motion graphics, animations, and visual assets across multiple mediums, including digital, social, web, campaigns, and brand initiatives. Apply a marketing mindset to creative execution, ensuring visuals are designed with audience, purpose, and channel context in mind
  • Adapt creative concepts across formats and mediums while maintaining cohesive brand storytelling
  • Create visually compelling graphics, illustrations, and layouts that align with brand guidelines.
  • Contribute to early-stage concepting and campaign development, not just final production
  • Collaborate with the marketing and community teams to develop creative concepts and execute projects from start to finish.
  • Edit and enhance video content, incorporating animation, transitions, sound, and special effects.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Stay current with design trends, animation techniques, and industry best practices.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Video Animator and Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing both skillS.
  • Proficiency in design and animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. 
  • Strong understanding of animation principles, typography, color theory, and composition. 
  • Ability to conceptualize and communicate creative ideas effectively. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience with 3D animation software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D).
  • Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for web design.
  • Familiarity with video production processes and equipment.

Physical Requirements:  

  • Office environment with normal business hours necessary to satisfactorily perform job functions.   
  • Stationary Position - Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.  
  • Move or Traverse - This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, meeting rooms, office machinery, etc.  May occasionally ascends/descends the stairs to get to other floors, cafeteria and parking area.
  • Dexterity - constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine/printer.  
  • Move, Transport, Position, Put, Install, Remove - Occasionally moves supplies weighing up to 10 pounds for various presentation and event needs. 
  • Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information - The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess - The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
