Job description

The 3D Motion Graphics Artist at Negativ Design is a dynamic creative role responsible for conceptualizing and producing visually stunning motion graphics and 3D animations that bring stories to life. This position involves working collaboratively with clients and internal teams to deliver captivating visual content that aligns with strategic goals and enhances brand presence. The role combines creativity, technical expertise, and project management to deliver animations that engage and inspire audiences across various platforms.
Responsibilities
Creative Direction & Animation Development:
  • Develop creative concepts and execute high-quality 3D animations and motion graphics for diverse projects.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions to establish animation direction and visual storytelling strategies.
  • Stay updated on animation trends and technologies to create innovative solutions.

3D Design & Motion Graphics Execution:
  • Create 3D models, textures, and animations using industry-standard tools (e.g., Cinema 4D, Redshift).
  • Design dynamic motion graphics and video assets for digital and broadcast platforms.
  • Integrate 3D animations seamlessly with 2D motion graphics for cohesive visual narratives.

Client Collaboration:
  • Partner with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and brand identity for motion design projects.
  • Present concepts, storyboards, and animations effectively, incorporating feedback to refine deliverables.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients to ensure alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Management:
  • Manage multiple animation projects simultaneously, ensuring high-quality output within deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and marketers, to meet project objectives.
  • Define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables for smooth workflows.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
  • Work closely with designers and other creatives to develop cohesive visual content.
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster growth.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.

Quality Control & Optimization:
  • Review and refine animations to meet the highest standards of visual and technical quality.
  • Optimize animations for various platforms, ensuring seamless performance and user experience.
  • Implement feedback loops for continuous improvement and innovation.

  • 2+ years of professional experience in 3D animation and motion graphics.
  • Experience with industry-standard tools, such as Cinema 4D, Redshift, After Effects, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Portfolio showcasing innovative 3D motion graphics and animation projects.
  • Exposure to modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering for 3D animations.
  • Understanding of animation principles, typography, and visual storytelling.
  • Experience collaborating with clients and presenting creative concepts effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork, mentorship, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies like AR/VR and interactive 3D design is a plus.
