Job description

The Entry-Level Design Engineer supports the engineering team by creating, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and 3D models using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. This role assists in product development, manufacturing support, and design improvements while gaining hands-on experience in a production environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working with CAD tools to translate engineering concepts into accurate technical designs.

  • Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
  • Assist in the design and development of components, assemblies, and tooling
  • Prepare engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, and bill of materials (BOMs)
  • Support manufacturing by updating designs based on production feedback
  • Review drawings for accuracy, tolerances, and compliance with company standards
  • Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain engineering files and revision control
  • Assist with prototypes, testing, and design validation
