Job description

Architectural & Interior Designer

Are you an emerging designer with a passion for both the creative and technical sides of design? At Mancini, Architectural & Interior Designers are active contributors from day one, trusted team players who help bring bold ideas to life while building real-world skills. Youโ€™ll gain hands-on experience across all phases of design, working alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, design-forward studio. If youโ€™re curious, driven, and eager to grow through mentorship and diverse project work, weโ€™d love to meet you.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

A proactive, creative, and detail-oriented designer with a degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design and minimum of 2+ years of commercial design experience. Youโ€™re fluent in Revit, with familiarity in Rhino or other 3D modeling and graphic visualization tools to clearly communicate design ideas. Youโ€™re a quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced studio environment, able to balance multiple projects at various stages while staying organized and collaborative. You demonstrate strong communication and are motivated to continue developing your expertise across design, documentation, and construction. Pursuit of licensure, NCARB and/or NCIDQ certification, and LEED accreditation is encouraged and supported.

What Youโ€™ll Do

Youโ€™ll support project teams through every phase of the design process, helping translate concepts into clear, buildable documentation while strengthening your foundation as a future leader. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

โ€ข Assisting with test fits, space plans, furniture layouts, and 3D models

โ€ข Supporting FF&E selections, finish palettes, specifications, and schedules

โ€ข Producing drawings and contract documents under the guidance of senior staff

โ€ข Developing presentation decks, renderings, diagrams, and visual storytelling tools

โ€ข Participating in design charrettes and collaborative brainstorming sessions

โ€ข Conducting site surveys, field verifications, and 3D scans

โ€ข Researching materials, systems, codes, vendors, and client context

โ€ข Coordinating sample requests and consultant or vendor outreach

โ€ข Engaging in internal reviews to refine design and technical accuracy

โ€ข Representing Mancini at client meetings, site visits, and industry events
