Full-Time | Days and Afternoon Shift


Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Heavy Truck / Diesel Mechanics to join a large, high-volume 29-bay shop with a strong reputation for quality work and consistent workflow.

This is an excellent opportunity for technicians who want steady year-round hours, strong earning potential, and exposure to a wide variety of equipment, including Ford commercial fleet vehicles, mixed fleet units, and light-duty gas vehicles.

Compensation & Benefits

Earning Potential

  • $70,000 – $150,000+ annually (based on experience, productivity, and flat-rate performance)
  • Flat Rate structure with 80%–90% guaranteed hours


Tiered Pay Structure

  • Level 1 (Entry / Junior Tech): $25.00 – $30.00/hour
  • Level 2 (Mid-Level Tech): $30.00 – $40.00/hour
  • Level 3 (Senior / Diagnostic Tech): $40.00 – $50.00/hour
  • Master / Ford Certified Techs: Top of range + premium earning potential


Bonus Programs

Schedule


Day Shift:

  • Monday – Friday
  • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks
  • Work on Ford F-250 through F-750 fleet vehicles, plus mixed fleet units
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Complete commercial/state inspections (if licensed)
  • Identify additional repair opportunities and communicate recommendations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Work efficiently within a flat-rate system to maximize productivity
  • Collaborate with service advisors and team members to deliver high-quality service


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of heavy truck/diesel mechanic experience
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
  • Experience with engines, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
  • Ford experience (preferred)
  • Commercial inspection license (asset)
  • CDL (preferred, not required)
  • Trailer repair experience (asset)
  • Own tools required
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
