Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for an Ultrasound Technician in support of the Blackfeet Community Hospital (BFSU) in Browning, Montana. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position. BFSU hours are 365 days a year, 7 days a week, and 24 hours a day. CT, Xray and Ultrasound service shift times and schedules are to be provided on an as-needed basis and are subject to change based on the medical needs of the patient population and hospital/clinic operations.

This position can be either W2 or 1099.

  • W2 - $50-55/hr
  • 1099 - $80-85/hr

Responsibilities
  • Perform CT, Xray and Ultrasound Services examinations as deemed necessary to obtain all possible Information related to each requested examination, including all clerical duties involved. (RPMS, EHR, and PACS systems)
  • Perform all quality control of patient demographics and imagery performed 
  • Perform a range of computed tomography examinations as requested, including patient screening and monitoring, patient therapy, and status.
  • Perform Computed Tomography examinations.
  • Complete medical and other required records for patients in a timely fashion.
  • Complete chart notes on the day services are rendered.
  • Work beyond the scheduled cover hours in emergency cases.
  • Medical imaging services may be on-site or on-call services.
  • Perform other assignments, as determined by the Radiology Department Supervisor

Qualifications
  • Academic degree from an accredited Radiology Educational Program.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in Computer Tomography Licensure
  • Current ARRT (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Computerized Tomography (CT)
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Image Gently and Image Wisely certification/training
  • Undergo IHS mandated security clearance.
  • Attend orientation.
  • Provide immunization records as proof of immunity or disease before the performance of work.
  • complete BFSU mandatory training monthly or as needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
