Job description

We are looking for an experienced Revenue Audit Leader to guide the audit function and align departmental performance with the organizationโ€™s broader financial and operational objectives. This role will oversee audit activities tied to billing, collections, ledger accuracy, and reporting while building strong partnerships across leadership and finance. Responsibilities:

โ€ข Lead the audit departmentโ€™s overall strategy and daily execution, ensuring work supports company goals and operational priorities.

โ€ข Oversee audit-related activity connected to billing, collections, general ledger transactions, and reporting accuracy.

โ€ข Create, refine, and enforce policies, procedures, and control frameworks that strengthen bill audit operations.

โ€ข Partner closely with finance leadership, including the controller, to maintain compliance standards and consistent departmental practices.

โ€ข Prepare, coordinate, and review recurring financial and audit reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

โ€ข Resolve client audit discrepancies and guide the team in addressing exceptions in a timely and thorough manner.

โ€ข Drive efficiency initiatives, including automated processing improvements, to increase productivity and reduce manual effort.

โ€ข Collaborate with executive stakeholders and cross-functional partners to support planning, performance analysis, and operational decision-making.


What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Direct all audit department operations, including oversight of general ledger transactions and audit reporting
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and systems related to billing and revenue management
  • Partner closely with the Controller to ensure compliance and alignment across the department
  • Support senior leadership with financial planning, reporting, and analysis of revenue and cost drivers
  • Coordinate and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Oversee and manage client audit exceptions
  • Collaborate regularly with executive leadership

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train staff
  • Oversee all workflow through the department
  • Consistent Performance Reviews
