Operations Support Specialist (Data Entry / Administrative)

Location: Cumberland, RI (100% Onsite) Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: 18/hr

Position Type: Contract / Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and independent Operations Support Specialist to join our team in Cumberland, RI. Located within a call center facility, this is a non-phone support role. You will not be responsible for taking inbound or outbound customer calls. Instead, you will focus on high-volume data entry, mail operations, and internal system updates supporting CVS.com and RX Records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry & System Management: Utilize internal accounting and disclosure applications to enter receipts and update patient/prescription information accurately.

  • Mail Operations: Open, organize, and sort incoming physical mail and correspondence daily.

  • Compliance: Handle all patient and prescription records with strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and privacy regulations.

  • Task Management: Multi-task efficiently to keep processing timelines on track while maintaining high accuracy.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Location: Must be local to Cumberland, RI. This position is 100% onsite, 5 days a week (No remote or hybrid flexibility).

  • Travel: No travel is required for this role.

  • Experience: Prior experience in data entry, administrative support, or handling sensitive/confidential documentation (such as medical or prescription records) is highly preferred.

  • Technical Skills: Strong and accurate data entry skills. Ability to learn new, proprietary internal software quickly (hands-on training will be provided).

  • Soft Skills: Ability to work independently with little supervision, strong organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail.
