SHIFT: 1st Shift | Monday - Friday | 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
SUMMARY
Maintains and coordinates production flow/jobs. Assembles electronic PCB assemblies and box build electronic/electrical assemblies. Works at bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate and prioritize production activity/workflow.
  • Acting supervisor when required. Supervision experience preferred.
  • Actively leads and works/directs group/team activities.
  • Desired experience and knowledge of SMT, AOI, Wave, Assembly & Test operations.
  • Participate in daily team meetings.
  • Able to train and follow up on adherence to the process.
  • Ability to work independently on and off shift with limited management oversight.
  • Follows appropriate quality policies and procedures.
  • Practice and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activities.
  • Performs work to appropriate efficiency and utilization standards.
  • Able to communicate effectively with the management team.
  • Provide first-level technical support to teams and escalate per the escalation policy.
  • Capable of producing and inspecting quality products.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area and environment.
  • Enthusiastic, positive, and dependable member of the manufacturing group.
  • Actively supports change and identifies ways to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Must be a positive and dependable member of the manufacturing group.

  • This is a working team lead position, meaning production work must be a part of daily responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED required. A minimum of two years' experience in the electronics industry is required.
  • Able to perform data entry transactions.
  • The ability to read, speak, and understand English to enable clear communication and comprehension of documentation.
  • Basic math skills will be required to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Basic understanding of & ability to read performance graphs.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Proven ability to produce and inspect electronic components and subassemblies in compliance with quality and workmanship standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and correct defects to ensure final product quality.

CERTIFICATIONS
  • Must achieve a passing score on the Milwaukee Electronics Component Identification course.
  • Must achieve a passing score on the IPC Workmanship standard exam.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be seated or standing, based on their workstation. Employee is occasionally required to stand and/or walk; Employee must frequently use hands to point, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close & distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
