Job Description

The Assembly Technician is the entry point into Trek's assembly and fulfillment operations. In this role, you'll learn the fundamentals of bicycle assembly, quality packaging, and efficient box preparation under the guidance of experienced team members. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position built for people who are eager to develop technical skills and grow within the organization.

This position will take place at our HQ in Waterloo, WI.

Standard shift is 6a-2p, Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and pre-build bicycle components to Trek quality standards

  • Perform boxing and box-building for outbound shipments, ensuring product is secure and properly packed

  • Prepare and package products for retail and direct-to-consumer fulfillment

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines

  • Communicate issues or defects to leads and supervisors in a timely manner

  • Meet daily productivity and quality targets

Qualifications

  • No prior bicycle or mechanical experience required - we will train you

  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout a full shift

  • Reliable, punctual, and a team-first attitude
