About the Program:
My Plumber Plus is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to launch their careers in the skilled trades. Our Plumbing Academy Program is designed to train and develop junior/entry-level plumbing apprentices through a structured, hands-on learning experience.
Position Overview:
We are currently hiring entry-level Plumbing Apprentices who are eager to learn and grow in the plumbing trade. This position begins with a 3-6 month introductory period where apprentices will:
  • Assist experienced plumbing technicians on job sites (including running parts and tools)
  • Work in our warehouse to gain foundational knowledge of parts, tools, and operations

After successfully completing the initial period, apprentices who demonstrate strong interest and aptitude may be invited to join the Plumbing Academy, a 3-6 month robust training program that includes:
  • Online technical courses
  • In-house training with seasoned professionals
  • Ride-alongs with licensed plumbing technicians

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, dispatch, automotive, delivery driving, data entry, customer service, or related roles
  • Aspirations of entering the plumbing trade (or a similar skilled trade)
  • Clean driving record (no negative points; positive points only)
  • Preferably 21 years of age or older
  • Ambitious with strong initiative-able to take ownership of tasks and daily operations
  • Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attendance and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Willing to go above and beyond by learning new skills outside their core responsibilities
  • Open to cross-training on the dispatch desk
  • Willing and able to work overtime as needed
