As a Security Officer Entry Control in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or guests by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with location protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to restricted areas, entry points, and other sensitive locations where access control support may help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Support media and technology operations by assisting with visitor management, directing foot traffic, and maintaining awareness of security-related procedures in fast-paced production and office environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
