Job description


ABM is hiring an Entitlements Analyst to be part of a team that is responsible for paid time off (PTO) calculations, all rules governing pay, wage, and hour calculations, and maintaining the rules for both of these activities in the ABM Entitlement Management System (EMS). The rules governing these calculations are determined by union collective bargaining agreements, Federal, State, and Local Government laws, as well as agreements with Customers.
This position is also responsible for compliance activities related to minimum wage, Living wage, Prevailing Wage, California Meal and Rest Break Requirements, and Healthy San Francisco. This analyst position will support rollouts and maintenance of new software, including Epay and Oracle Fusion.
A successful candidate will possess advanced organizational, research, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Accounting, FP&A, Human Resources, Legal, Software Developers, the Project Management Office, and Operational Managers.
This is a Hybrid Role (in-office Mon-Thu) based out of our office located at 14141 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land, TX 77478.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Maintain for Union, Statutory, and Customer Paid Time Off (PTO) rules in the Entitlement Management System (EMS)
  • Maintain for Union, Statutory and Customer wage and hour, pay, adjustment rules in the EMS and EPay.
  • Obtain and document new Union agreements, Statutory laws, and Customer agreements that drive PTO and wage and hour rules
  • Maintain knowledge of union collective bargaining agreements, statutory rules and customer agreements
  • Drive the EPay rollout by providing essential rules and data for pay calculations and system setup
  • Work with Operations Teams to roll out EPay by researching the unique rules at each job site
  • Provide accurate system reports to FP&A, Accounting, HR and Operations Teams
  • Reconcile monthly PTO balances with balance sheet accruals and research any discrepancies
  • Audit EMS PTO balance calculations and research any errors
  • Assist IT Developers in resolving any code issues leading to balance reporting errors
  • Work with Operations Teams and HR to research and resolve any reported discrepancies

Qualifications
Education and Competencies:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three plus years in Accounting/Finance, payroll, benefits, or electronic time keeping background
  • Strong MS Excel skills required (VLOOKUPS, XLOOKUPS and PIVOTS)
  • Understanding payroll processing requirements is a plus
  • Understanding or experience with EPay is preferred
  • Commitment to teamwork through relationship-building, reliability, and collaboration
  • Good communication skills and able to work with different management levels
  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong analysis and organizational skills
  • Possess a positive attitude with a strong desire to learn
  • Ability to work within deadlines in a fast-paced environment
