The Producer / Shooter / Editor is responsible for creating dynamic, social first content across the Professional Bowlers Association ecosystem. This role serves as a hands on creative responsible for producing, shooting, editing, and publishing content that supports tournament coverage, player storytelling, social growth, sponsor integrations, and year round audience engagement. The ideal candidate is a self starter with strong production instincts who can operate independently in fast paced live event environments while also collaborating closely with social, marketing, broadcast, and production teams. This role will play a key part in shaping the voice and visual identity of PBA content across digital platforms. 

What You’ll Do 

    • Produce, shoot, and edit original content across PBA Tour, PBA 50, Regional Tour, Junior, and special events. 
    • Create short form and long form content optimized for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X. 
    • Capture behind the scenes moments, player features, interviews, social trends, and live event storytelling. 
    • Edit high volume social content with fast turnaround times during tournament weeks and live events. 
    • Work closely with talent, athletes, and creators to develop engaging personality driven content. 
    • Assist in the development of recurring content franchises and digital series. 
    • Collaborate with the social and marketing teams on sponsorship integrations and branded content execution. 
    • Help identify viral trends, social opportunities, and emerging content formats. 
    • Operate cameras, audio equipment, lighting, and mobile production setups in live event environments. 
    • Organize footage, maintain project files, and assist with archive management and content distribution workflows. 
    • Support live event coverage, shoulder programming, promotional shoots, and special projects throughout the season. 
    • Remote work environment with extensive travel required throughout the PBA season including tournaments, live events, productions, and shoots. Fast paced environment aligned with live sports schedules, social publishing timelines, and event operations. Evening and weekend work will frequently be required during tournament weeks and live productions. 

What You’ll Bring 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Communications, Film, Journalism, or related field preferred. 
  • Minimum two to five years of professional experience producing, shooting, and editing content in sports, entertainment, digital media, or live event environments preferred. 
  • Strong shooting and editing skills with a portfolio demonstrating social first storytelling and live event coverage. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro required. Experience with Photoshop, After Effects, and mobile editing platforms preferred. 
  • Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms, especially short form content trends and best practices. 
  • Experience operating cameras, audio, and lighting equipment in live production environments. 
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. 
  • Strong creative instincts, communication skills, and collaborative mindset. 
  • Passion for sports, storytelling, and creator driven content. 
  • Experience in sports, media, entertainment, or live event production preferred.

The pay range for this position is $85,000-90,000 per year
