Job description

We are in relentless pursuit of an equitable and inspiring workplace that is respectful of all, reflects and represents the world in which we live, and fosters trust, collaboration and belonging. Consistent with this approach, we hire the best qualified candidates for all positions.

Senior Director, Entertainment Partnerships UEG is looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial leader to help shape and grow our Entertainment Partnerships practice. This person is a partnership builder and business developer at heart — someone who knows how to identify opportunities across the entertainment landscape, turn cultural and consumer insights into compelling ideas, and sell those ideas through to clients and partners. You’ll bring a broad understanding of entertainment and culture, strong industry relationships, and the commercial instinct to uncover opportunities others may not see. From identifying the right partner to developing the idea, negotiating the opportunity, and helping bring it to market, you’ll play a key role in creating meaningful partnerships for our clients and growing UEG’s business.

Partnership Development & Business Growth

Identify, develop, and cultivate partnership opportunities across the broader entertainment and cultural landscape, including film/IP, television, streaming, gaming, digital platforms, branded content, lifestyle, and brand collaborations. Build and maintain relationships with studios, networks, streamers, gaming companies, platforms, rights holders, talent, creators, and other entertainment partners. Proactively mine the marketplace for emerging opportunities, new partners, cultural moments, and untapped areas of growth for our clients. Develop and pitch partnership ideas that connect client objectives with relevant entertainment, audience, and cultural opportunities. Negotiate and help structure partnerships that unlock meaningful access, IP, content, talent, distribution, experiences, and other unique assets. Contribute to new business and organic growth by bringing partnership thinking to pitches, identifying opportunities across existing accounts, and helping create new revenue streams for the agency.

Client & Strategic Leadership

Serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients, helping them understand where and how their brands can participate credibly in entertainment and culture. Lead partnership initiatives from opportunity identification and concept development through negotiation, activation, and launch. Bring a strong point of view on shifts across entertainment, fandom, consumer behavior, digital culture, and emerging platforms. Partner closely with account, strategy, creative, production, experiential, creator, media, and business affairs teams to develop integrated programs. Balance creative ambition with commercial and operational realities, helping teams navigate complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships.

Team & Organizational Impact

Help shape and evolve UEG’s entertainment partnerships offering, identifying new capabilities, relationships, and areas of growth. Mentor junior team members and foster strong partnership development, relationship-building, and commercial skills. Represent UEG externally and continue to expand the agency’s network and reputation across the entertainment industry.

Who You Are

A strategic, entrepreneurial partnership leader who is energized by finding opportunities, building relationships, developing ideas, and turning those ideas into business. Deeply knowledgeable about the entertainment ecosystem, with experience across multiple areas of entertainment, media, culture, and partnerships. Commercially minded, with demonstrated experience developing, pitching, negotiating, and closing partnership opportunities. Comfortable working directly with senior clients and external partners and influencing across multiple stakeholders. A strong storyteller, presenter, and relationship builder who can make an opportunity feel both creatively exciting and strategically compelling. Comfortable navigating deal structures, rights, IP, business affairs, and the realities of bringing complex partnerships to market. 7+ years of relevant experience in entertainment partnerships, brand partnerships, business development, integrated marketing, sponsorships, content, or related fields. Experience within a leading talent, entertainment, representation, or brand-focused agency environment strongly preferred. Curious, proactive, collaborative, and consistently plugged into what’s happening — and what’s next — across entertainment and culture.
