What You'll Do
As a Seasonal Event Security team member, you are the first line of safety for our guests, staff, and performers. Your presence, professionalism, and situational awareness keep the experience running smoothly-so everyone can focus on the fun.
Access Control & Crowd Management
  • Monitor entry points, exits, and designated zones throughout the event footprint to ensure authorized access and orderly guest flow
  • Conduct bag checks, ticket verification support, and prohibited item screenings at entry in accordance with company policy
  • Manage crowd density in queues, attraction entrances, and high-traffic areas to prevent overcrowding and maintain safe throughput
  • Direct guests clearly and professionally to maintain organized movement throughout the venue

Incident Response & De-escalation
  • Identify and respond to disruptive, unsafe, or suspicious behavior using calm, professional de-escalation techniques
  • Immediately report incidents, ejections, or emergencies to the security lead and operations management via radio
  • Coordinate with on-site EMTs, local law enforcement, and event leadership when situations require escalation
  • Complete accurate incident reports for all security-related events during each shift

Venue Safety & Patrols
  • Conduct regular patrols of the event space, parking areas, and perimeter to deter misconduct and identify hazards
  • Remain alert and visible throughout the full duration of each shift-your presence is part of the deterrent
  • Support emergency evacuation procedures and assist guests with special needs as directed

What You Bring
  • Prior security experience is required-event, venue, nightclub, retail loss prevention, or similar environments strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly and effectively without unnecessary confrontation
  • Strong situational awareness and sound judgment in fast-moving, high-stimulation environments
  • Clear, professional communication skills-both with guests and internal team members via radio
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and patrolling outdoors for the full duration of each shift in varied weather conditions
  • Reliable and consistent attendance throughout the full season-evenings, weekends, and holidays required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
