POSITION OVERVIEW

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Accounts Receivable Manager for a growing entertainment, communications, and social impact consulting firm in Beverly Hills, California. This is a Direct Hire, full-time, hybrid opportunity working onsite Monday through Thursday, with Fridays typically remote. This position offers the opportunity to lead Accounts Receivable operations, strengthen collections and cash flow processes, and support a growing organization in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee day-to-day Accounts Receivable operations and supervise the AR team while serving as an escalation point for complex billing and collection matters. This position will manage invoicing, collections, cash application, dispute resolution, client billbacks, purchase orders, pre-payments, and AR reporting. The Accounts Receivable Manager will partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, and Client Management to improve processes, strengthen reporting, and support accurate and timely client billing.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead daily Accounts Receivable operations, including invoicing, collections, cash application, dispute resolution, and AR reporting
  • Manage complex client billing processes involving billbacks, purchase orders, pre-payments, customer billing portals, and vendor/supplier registration systems
  • Supervise and support the Accounts Receivable team, providing leadership, coaching, workflow oversight, and escalation support
  • Monitor AR aging, collections activity, DSO, and cash flow metrics and identify opportunities to improve performance
  • Partner with Accounting, Operations, and Client Management on billing accuracy, issue resolution, month-end/year-end close, and audit support
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of Accounts Receivable or general accounting experience, including at least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with invoicing, collections, cash application, dispute resolution, billbacks, purchase orders, pre-payments, and AR reporting
  • Strong ERP experience; NetSuite strongly preferred, along with experience using QuickBooks Desktop, customer billing portals, and/or vendor registration systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced reporting
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred; experience within professional services, media, entertainment, consulting, or agency environments is highly desirable
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This Direct Hire opportunity offers an annual salary of approximately $110,000-$115,000 DOE, with potential flexibility for highly qualified candidates, along with a discretionary annual bonus. Additional benefits will be discussed during the interview process.
