Job description

deciBel Research has an immediate opening for an Enterprise Tools Administrator in Huntsville, AL.Responsibilities Include:Support the establishment and ongoing operations of a Project Management Office (PMO) for enterprise software delivery and governanceConfigure, administer, and maintain an integrated tool suite supporting agile delivery, portfolio management, and software lifecycle managementDesign and configure projects, workflows, permission schemes, and system settings to align with evolving delivery practicesDevelop and maintain automations, dashboards, and reporting solutions to support program visibility and performance trackingImplement and support system integrations across the tool ecosystemProvide operational support and troubleshooting for end users across multiple teamsTranslate functional requirements into scalable technical configurationsCollaborate with senior engineering staff to align implementations with architectural, security, and integration standardsContinuously improve tooling processes, governance practices, and system performanceEducation Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Program Management, or related field.Experience Requirements:5–8 years of professional experience supporting enterprise software tools, application administration, or software delivery environmentsHands-on experience administering and configuring Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) or equivalent platformsAbility to design, develop, configure, and administer Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions, with particular emphasis on SharePoint and Teams, to support document management, information governance, and cross-functional team collaborationExperience configuring projects, workflows, issue types, permission schemes, and screen schemesExperience developing workflow automations, custom fields, and business rulesExperience building reports, dashboards, and metrics to support Agile delivery and portfolio visibilityExperience supporting or maintaining system integrations between collaboration tools and other enterprise systemsAbility to translate functional or user requirements into technical configurationsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a multi-team environmentAbility to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with senior engineers and stakeholdersSpecial Skills Desired:Experience supporting a PMO or portfolio management environmentFamiliarity with integrated software lifecycle management practicesExperience supporting DoD, federal government, or highly regulated environmentsExperience supporting Agile software delivery teams and understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologiesBasic scripting experience (e.g., Python) to support automation and integrationsExperience with plugin/add-on configuration and app managementFamiliarity with security controls, role-based access models, and compliance requirementsExperience supporting tool migrations, upgrades, or enterprise-scale implementationsAtlassian certifications (e.g., ACP) or equivalent platform certificationsExperience working in a DevSecOps environmentApplicant selected must have an active Secret security clearance.
