Manager, Enterprise Systems Position Summary:

As CAVA continues to grow and advance its technology capabilities, we are seeking an experienced Manager, Enterprise Systems to partner with and provide overall direction for the applications that support Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Food Safety, Development, Real Estate, Facilities and Legal. This leader will shape the enterprise systems roadmap, oversee implementation and optimization initiatives, and ensure that platforms and integrations scale with the business.

The ideal candidate can translate complex business and technical requirements into clear, concise documentation and practical solutions. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional partnership, independent judgment, people leadership, and a service mindset. Experience in hospitality or retail is a plus.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

Enterprise Systems Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise systems strategy and roadmap aligned with CAVAโ€™s business objectives and growth priorities.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to identify opportunities for technology-enabled improvement, innovation, and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate complex business and technical needs; lead requirements and design sessions; and produce clear, comprehensive business requirements and solution documentation.
  • Keep the impact on guests and Team Members at the center of priorities, decisions, and delivery plans.

People Leadership & Team Culture

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the team members responsible for the design, administration, development, and maintenance of enterprise systems.
  • Set clear goals, priorities, responsibilities, and timelines, and hold the team accountable for results.
  • Create opportunities for Team Members to grow and progress into broader roles while encouraging curiosity and innovative solutions.
  • Model CAVAโ€™s values, sound decision-making, consistent performance, and calm leadership during adversity.

Solution Delivery, Architecture & Integration

  • Oversee the planning, requirements, execution, and delivery of enterprise system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and integration projects on time and within budget.
  • Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to define scope, objectives, deliverables, dependencies, and success measures.
  • Evaluate and select technologies that strengthen enterprise capabilities while fitting CAVAโ€™s architecture and operating model.
  • Guide integration strategy across systems and data flows to support data integrity, seamless workflows, and interoperability with existing applications and infrastructure.

Systems Operations, Reliability & Support

  • Ensure enterprise platforms are effectively configured, maintained, supported, and optimized throughout their lifecycle.
  • Implement monitoring tools and operating processes that proactively identify performance, availability, and support issues.
  • Continuously assess system performance against service-level expectations and lead improvements that increase stability, scalability, and user experience.
  • Ensure issues are identified, tracked, communicated, resolved promptly, and supported by root-cause analysis and corrective action when appropriate.

Security, Controls & Risk Management

  • Partner with cybersecurity, engineering, architecture, and business teams to establish and enforce security and technology standards.
  • Ensure enterprise systems work complies with established IT processes and internal controls, including change management, architecture review, incident response, SOX, PCI, and protection of personally identifiable information.
  • Support compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, data governance requirements, and cybersecurity practices.

Vendor, Financial & Adoption Management

  • Oversee enterprise systems budgets, contracts, software licensing, vendors, implementation partners, and consultants.
  • Evaluate third-party solutions and vendor performance, manage relationships, and ensure partners deliver against agreed scope, service, and value expectations.
  • Champion successful change and user adoption through stakeholder communication, training, documentation, and ongoing support.
  • Manage expectations within and across teams and deliver on commitments with consistent communication and disciplined follow-through.
The Qualifications:
  • Food manufacturing plant, supply chain, food quality, real estate and/or finance systems experience are required. Must have experience with at least 2 areas.
  • Five or more years of experience in a leadership role overseeing enterprise systems in a complex organization.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to assess complex business requirements and facilitate requirements and design sessions that produce effective business solutions.
  • Proven ability to write comprehensive, clear, and concise business requirements and technical documentation.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, systems integration, and emerging technologies, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences at all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to mentor and train end users with a range of technical skill levels.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
  • Ability to exchange information accurately and effectively and to identify, analyze, and assess details.
  • Demonstrated service mindset and commitment to collaborative partnership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ERP experience with Oracle NetSuite or Oracle Fusion ERP.
  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns and tools, including APIs, middleware, and data warehousing.
  • Experience with cloud migrations or cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Background in data governance, IT compliance, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or a relevant platform-specific certification.
  • Experience in the hospitality or retail industry.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds.
  • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Occasional Travel Required.
