JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager of Enterprise Systems will lead and oversee the effective delivery of top-tier technical assistance within our enterprise IT environment. This role will directly manage and develop our Clinical Systems and Enterprise Engineering teams. This position combines strong technical expertise with a passion for empowering teams to meet system availability, performance, and scalability requirements and drive the integration of new solutions. This support is crucial to the delivery of the company's mission of helping children achieve a lifetime of great oral health.

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in IT support, including 2+ years in management or a supervisory role.
  • Experience leading the successful implementation of new technologies and solutions.
  • Healthcare experience required, dentistry preferred
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience working with enterprise-scale systems and integrations.
    • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, specifically desktop applications,productivity suites,and collaboration tools.
    • Experience with service desk ticketing systems and ITIL or similar frameworks.
  • Leadership & Management:
    • Ability to lead both technical execution and people development
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
    • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language
    • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on service quality.

JOB-RELATED SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

    • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify professional development opportunities.
    • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that prioritizes customer service excellence.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management
    • Manage vendors supporting enterprise and clinical systems
    • Serve as a key point of contact for business stakeholders
    • Communicate system health, risks, and initiatives to leadership
  • Strategic Alignment & Delivery
    • Translate strategic directives into actionable execution plans
    • Partner with PMO and leadership on project intake, prioritization, and delivery
    • Support modernization initiatives (cloud migrations, SaaS adoption, technical debt reduction)
    • Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements
    • Partner with stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption.
