Description

The main function is to assist the overall team, as well as key stakeholders across various tasks related to the applications and business processes, including improving business processes and aligning key metrics for the applications and integrations that are part of the Enterprise Systems and Services, Talent & Deal Management Solutions team. A major component of this effort will be to serve as the functional project manager of an in-flight system migration from SAP to Salesforce.

The Daily - Major Activities:

• Work directly with personnel from multiple business units including Rights, Business Affairs and Production finance teams to fully understand, gather and document business requirements

• As part of the ongoing effort to optimize the processes, once role responsibilities are fully understood, evaluate current support model, identify areas for improvement and update existing documentation to reflect new model.

• Identify key documentation on legacy Sharepoint site, update documentation as needed and migrate to new site that was recently created by support team.

• Develop any required new support team process documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer to new and temporary staff.

• Serve as primary project manager of an ongoing system migration from SAP CRM to a custom-built, in-service Salesforce application

• Participate in process improvement (re-engineering efforts and work with Advisory Developers/Architects to ensure that application/technology solutions align with enterprise-wide direction.

• Build diagrams representing as-is (current state) architecture and target architecture (future state).

• Provide business analysis support for system migrations, consolidations and ongoing enhancements

• Assist in establishing and coordinating the system migration project plan for implementation / cutover to production

• Create Functional Specifications and Design documents

• Communicate complex finance and rights management concepts to offshore technical team

• Review proposed technical designs for feasibility and assurance that they meet end-user requirements

• Perform Functional Acceptance and System Integration testing

• Coordinate User Acceptance testing / obtain user sign-off on fixes/enhancements

• Assist with developing and defining new and improved workflow and initiatives

• Provide training materials and end-user training for new processes

• Working knowledge of configuration or development in an enterprise ERP system (SAP, Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft Financials, Workday Financials, etc.)

The pay range for this position is $49.00 - $85.00/hr.
