Digital Solution Specialist (Technical Project Manager) 

Job Description

As a Digital Solution Specialist, you will lead Autonomous Laboratory digital initiatives by driving technical solutioning and coordinating software engineering, AI, data, and platform workstreams across multidisciplinary teams. You will help define and evolve the organization’s digital technology landscape while translating internal and customer requirements into scalable solutions.

[Key Responsibilities] 

  • Define digital solution strategies and technical roadmaps aligned with organizational priorities, business needs, and customer requirements. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional engineering workstreams across AI, software integration, platform engineering, and data initiatives. 
  • Manage project scope, priorities, schedules, risks, budgets, and successful solution delivery. 
  • Translate strategic priorities and solution requirements into executable implementation plans across engineering workstreams. 
  • Provide technical governance throughout solution delivery, ensuring alignment with approved architectures, technology standards, and engineering practices. 
  • Coordinate platform operations, release planning, DevOps governance, and production readiness with engineering teams. 
  • Develop and coordinate data integration strategies across ELN, LIMS, AI applications, and enterprise data platform initiatives.
  • Coordinate the establishment of data governance, metadata standards, and digital information flows supporting scalable solutions. 
  • Lead internal and customer workshops, solution reviews, Proof-of-Concept (PoC) activities, and executive communications. 
  • Collaborate with internal and global Product, Engineering, AI, Commercial, and Application teams to align technology direction, solution architecture, reusable capabilities, and implementation priorities. 
  • Collaborate with AI and platform engineers to develop and align target architectures, technology standards, and operating models across AI, data, integration, and platform layers.
  •  Evaluate emerging technologies, third-party solutions, and architectural options, and facilitate technical decision-making with internal and global engineering teams. 

[Qualifications] 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. 

Experience 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software solution delivery, technical consulting, or digital transformation projects. 
  • Experience leading cross-functional software engineering and digital solution programs across internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Experience delivering enterprise software, platform, or data-driven initiatives. 

[Knowledge, Skills, Abilities] 

  • Broad technical understanding of software engineering, AI, data architecture, cloud/platform technologies, system integration, and enterprise software delivery.
  • Familiarity with modern infrastructure, cloud platforms, DevOps, AI/ML operations, enterprise data architecture, data governance, and production operating models.
  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders. 
  • Ability to assess technology options and translate complex AI, data, platform, and integration requirements into practical target architectures and implementation roadmaps. 
  • Strong communication, presentation, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Business-level English and Korean communication skills. 

[Preferred Qualifications] 

  • Experience with biotechnology, life sciences, laboratory automation, research, laboratory informatics or scientific software environments is highly desirable. 
  • Experience defining or contributing to enterprise AI, data, cloud, or digital platform architectures and evaluating and integrating third-party AI, data, or enterprise software platforms is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of AI platforms, cloud technologies, ELN/LIMS, enterprise data platforms, and software architecture. 
  • Experience with Agile project delivery, SDLC, and DevOps governance. 
  • PMP, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certification is preferred
