Experience: 20+ Years

Position Summary

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will be responsible for Visionet's enterprise-wide information and cybersecurity strategy, protecting company and client data, technology, intellectual property, and critical business operations.

The CISO will lead the evolution of Visionet's global security program across cybersecurity, information security, data protection, security architecture, risk management, privacy, compliance, third-party risk, cyber resilience, and security operations, while maintaining appropriate oversight of physical and corporate security.

As a member of the executive leadership team, the CISO will serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior leadership and will ensure that security enables—not inhibits—Visionet's growth, innovation, customer trust, and digital transformation.

Key Accountabilities

1. Enterprise Security Strategy

  • Define and execute Visionet's multi-year enterprise security strategy and roadmap.
  • Align security priorities, investments, and capabilities with business objectives and risk appetite.
  • Establish enterprise security governance, policies, standards, and accountability.
  • Establish measurable security KPIs, KRIs, and maturity objectives.

2. Cybersecurity & Information Protection

  • Own the enterprise cybersecurity and information security program.
  • Protect corporate and client information across cloud, applications, infrastructure, endpoints, identities, networks, and data environments.
  • Provide strategic direction for security architecture, IAM, Zero Trust, cloud security, application security, DevSecOps, data security, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and security operations.
  • Continuously evolve capabilities in response to emerging threats and technologies.

3. Risk, Privacy & Compliance

  • Establish an enterprise security risk-management framework and risk register.
  • Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate material cybersecurity and technology risks.
  • Partner with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Internal Audit, and business leadership on regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain alignment with applicable security frameworks and standards, including NIST and ISO 27001.

4. Client & Third-Party Security

  • Establish Visionet's enterprise third-party and supply-chain security strategy.
  • Oversee security due diligence, risk assessment, contractual requirements, monitoring, and remediation for critical vendors and partners.

5. Cyber Resilience & Incident Response

  • Establish enterprise cyber incident-response and crisis-management capabilities.
  • Lead executive response to significant cybersecurity and information-security incidents.
  • Ensure effective preparation, detection, containment, investigation, recovery, and post-incident improvement.
  • Integrate cybersecurity with business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resilience.
  • Maintain appropriate executive and Board-level incident reporting and escalation.
  • Establish enterprise principles for protecting data throughout its lifecycle.
  • Provide security governance for AI, generative AI, cloud, automation, APIs, and other emerging technologies.
  • Establish appropriate controls for sensitive data, intellectual property, models, and AI-enabled applications.

7. Physical & Corporate Security

  • Provide executive oversight of security risks affecting Visionet's people, facilities, physical assets, and critical operations.
  • Establish appropriate standards for physical access, workplace security, emergency preparedness, and protection of critical assets.

The CISO will:

  • Act as the principal security advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team.
  • Provide regular security and risk briefings to the Board and/or Board committees, as appropriate.
  • Establish the organization's security investment strategy and budget.
  • Lead enterprise security transformation and organizational change.
  • Ensure security remains aligned with Visionet's growth, technology, and client strategies.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be an accomplished security executive with:

  • 20+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, information security, technology risk, or enterprise security.
  • Significant experience leading global or enterprise-scale security organizations.
  • Proven experience developing and executing enterprise security strategies.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity, cloud security, application security, data protection, IAM, security architecture, threat management, and incident response.
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise risk, privacy, compliance, and third-party risk.
  • Experience advising CEOs, executive leadership teams, and Boards.
  • Experience managing significant security incidents and executive-level crises.
  • Experience operating in a technology, IT services, consulting, SaaS, cloud, or digital transformation environment strongly preferred.

Education & Credentials

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
  • Advanced degree, MBA, or executive education preferred.
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CCSP, CIPP, or equivalent credentials preferred.

Why This Role Matters

The CISO will play a critical role in protecting Visionet's assets and data while enabling the company's next phase of growth, innovation, and global expansion.
