Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Information Security Analyst to support and execute a comprehensive enterprise security program. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong experience operating within high-volume, mission-critical environments, particularly within financial services or similarly regulated industries.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, capable of working independently, and brings a strong foundation in cybersecurity, risk management, and audit/compliance frameworks.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily operations and ongoing maintenance of enterprise security platforms
  • Perform web application penetration testing and manage remediation efforts (tracking issues through resolution)
  • Operate and optimize:
    • Vulnerability management platforms
    • Web security/content filtering tools
    • Intrusion detection and network forensics systems
  • Analyze logs and data across multiple security tools to identify risks and threats
  • Participate in incident response activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess, recommend, and implement new security technologies
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Security Analyst in an enterprise environment
  • Experience in cybersecurity, risk management, and audit/compliance practices
    • Familiarity with risk frameworks
    • Experience working with audit teams
    • Understanding of compliance standards
  • Experience working in financial services or similar regulated industries
    • Familiarity with regulatory standards such as SAS-70, SEC, NASD
  • Proven experience operating security platforms in:
    • Enterprise-scale environments
    • High alert volume settings
    • Mission-critical systems with uptime/security requirements
  • Hands-on experience with web application security testing and remediation management

Technical Skills & Experience
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems
    • Networking fundamentals and protocols (SMTP, DNS, TCP/IP, 802.1x, SSL)
  • Experience with:
    • Vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
    • Security monitoring and analysis tools
  • Scripting/programming knowledge preferred (e.g., Python, Perl, shell scripting, C, or VB)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, or CISM
  • Experience in large enterprise environments
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Solid understanding of risk management principles
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
