Overview

We are seeking an experienced Applications Engineering Manager (ERP & CRM) to lead engineering teams responsible for enterprise business applications and system integrations. This individual will oversee development across ERP, CRM, Field Service, and enterprise integration platforms while leading a major digital transformation initiative involving the migration from a legacy ERP system to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. This role is ideal for a hands‑on technical leader with proven experience managing software engineering teams, driving enterprise application strategy, and delivering scalable, integrated business solutions. The successful candidate will partner closely with business and technology stakeholders to establish technical standards, guide platform modernization efforts, and mentor engineering teams throughout a period of significant organizational transformation.

Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership
  • Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise ERP solutions, including a migration from a legacy ERP platform to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
  • Oversee Salesforce development and integrations across CRM and Field Service platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
  • Provide hands‑on technical leadership through architecture reviews, solution design, and implementation guidance.
  • Drive enterprise integration strategy using MuleSoft as the primary integration and orchestration platform.
  • Lead data migration planning and execution while ensuring data integrity and business continuity.
  • Design solutions with scalability, performance, security, and reliability in mind.
  • Participate in Agile planning, sprint reviews, backlog refinement, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Platform Strategy
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for enterprise ERP, CRM, and integration platforms.
  • Establish architecture standards, development best practices, and governance across enterprise applications.
  • Guide platform customizations, integrations, and API development to align with long‑term business objectives.
  • Lead change management efforts related to enterprise platform modernization.
  • Promote API best practices, including testing, monitoring, documentation, and observability.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs that measure platform stability, adoption, and business value.
  • Collaborate with business and IT leadership on application roadmaps, technology investments, and strategic initiatives.
People Leadership
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers supporting ERP, Salesforce, and enterprise integration platforms.
  • Provide technical coaching, career development, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Drive adoption of modern engineering practices and emerging technologies.
  • Communicate technical strategy effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of progressive IT experience, including software development and enterprise application support.
  • 5+ years of experience leading software engineering or application development teams.
  • Experience supporting enterprise ERP and/or CRM platforms.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Vista by Viewpoint, or similar ERP systems.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and Field Service; familiarity with Apex, Lightning, and Flows is preferred.
  • Experience implementing integrations using MuleSoft or similar integration platforms such as Dell Boomi or Informatica.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, API orchestration, integration patterns, and enterprise architecture.
  • Experience leading enterprise application migrations, modernization initiatives, and data migration efforts.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft SQL Server, and Power BI.
  • Exposure to analytics, enterprise data platforms, or AI‑enabled business solutions.
