Physician- Otolaryngology - 95337

General Otolaryngologist Opportunity in Bangor, Maine

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is actively seeking a BC/BE General Otolaryngologist to join our community hospital-employed, salaried, general/subspeciality ENT practice. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a strong team with multiple interests. With a strong regional referral base of 500,000+ patients, this is a great chance to develop your skills at the region's only tertiary care and Level II Trauma center.

Position Details:

  • Provide general adult and pediatric ENT services, with opportunity to develop sub-specialty niche, if desired.
  • Current practice includes Otolaryngologists of general and sub-specialty background, and 5 Physician Associates
  • Opportunity to collaborate with other surgical specialties, including plastics and neurosurgery (including skull base)
  • Flexible schedules and exceptional work/life balance
  • 1:5 call rotation
  • No facial trauma call
  • Average of 18 office patients per clinic day; 1-2 days in OR per week
  • Well-established hospital-based practice with no administrative duties or capital investment requirements

Compensation Information:

  • $500,000 - $535,000 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on productivity.
  • The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc
