Job SummaryThe Lead Medical Assistant will be primarily responsible for assisting the clinical manager in leadership duties to include interviewing, hiring and training new staff. They will also be a crucial part of ensuring that clinic at all locations runs smoothly and patients are cared for in an efficient manor. The lead medical assistant should know how to perform every clinical role, in order to provide coverage for staff when on leave. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the clinic has sufficient stock and stock is checked for expiration dates on a monthly basis. All other responsibilities can be found under requirements and are subject to change to meet the needs of the clinic. Active status is required for RMA or CCMA. New medical assistants hired will have 30 days from hire date to obtain certification/ registration. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action that may include termination. RequirementsPossess at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience providing patient care.Be a self-starter and an outstanding team player.Enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment.Have exceptional time management and communication skills.Attention to detail skills.
