Work Environment

This position is based in our state-of-the-art hospital facility, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration among a multi-disciplinary healthcare team. Our clinic operates from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities that cover emergencies and patient care needs after hours, ensuring continuous access to services for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

As an ENT Physician Assistant, your daily activities will include:

  • Conducting thorough medical assessments and detailed examinations of patients presenting with a variety of otolaryngology concerns.
  • Diagnosing conditions and formulating individualized treatment plans tailored to each patientโ€™s needs.
  • Ordering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic tests such as audiograms, CT scans, and allergy testing to aid in diagnosis and management.
  • Collaborating with and supporting physicians and specialists to enhance patient care strategies and outcomes.
  • Providing education, counseling, and support to patients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge needed to manage their health post-consultation.
  • Maintaining precise and comprehensive medical records and patient documentation to ensure continuity of care.
  • Staying abreast of the latest advancements in ENT medicine and implementing evidence-based methodologies into practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will encompass a diverse patient population, including adults and children experiencing a range of ear, nose, and throat conditions such as allergies, sinus issues, hearing loss, and voice disorders. You will play a crucial role in improving quality of life for these patients through effective diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are essential for this role:

  • A current and valid Physician Assistant (PA) license in the state of Arizona.
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
