Job description

Title: Landscape Enhancement Manager

Classification: Exempt

Reports to: Branch Manager


Position Summary

The Landscape Enhancement Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, client satisfaction, and operational excellence within the enhancement division. This role oversees the planning, sales support, execution, and profitability of landscape enhancement projects including upgrades, seasonal color, irrigation improvements, and property improvements across a portfolio of commercial and/or residential clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Managers and Business Development teams to identify and close enhancement opportunities
  • Conduct site walks and develop enhancement proposals (plantings, irrigation upgrades, hardscape, drainage, etc.)
  • Ensure accurate estimating, pricing, and margin targets are met
  • Track pipeline, conversion rates, and monthly enhancement revenue goals
  • Oversee scheduling, logistics, and execution of all enhancement projects
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Conduct pre- and post-install walkthroughs with clients and internal teams
  • Lead, coach, and develop enhancement crews and Field Supervisors
  • Ensure proper staffing levels, crew productivity, and performance management
  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Own P&L responsibility for enhancement division or assigned portfolio
  • Monitor job costing, labor hours, material usage, and profitability
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies
  • Ensure accurate billing, change orders, and revenue recognition
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Address client concerns and ensure high satisfaction and retention
  • Proactively recommend property improvements and seasonal enhancements
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and job site inspections
  • Ensure proper equipment use and risk mitigation


Qualifications

Required

  • 3–7+ years of experience in landscaping, construction, or enhancement/project management
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and landscape construction
  • Experience managing crews and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and drive profitability
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred

  • Experience in commercial landscape maintenance/enhancements
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Landscape certifications (e.g., CLT, irrigation licensing)
  • Experience with software (Aspire, LMN, Boss, or similar)

Work Environment

  • Combination of field and office work
  • Frequent outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and walk job sites regularly
