Job description

Elite Prep helps students develop the knowledge and skills needed to reach their academic potential and prepare for college admission.
We are seeking an experienced and engaging SAT Reading and Writing Teacher to join our San Jose team. This is a part-time, in-person position for an instructor who has experience tutoring high school students and leading group classes.
Required:
  • Completed bachelor’s degree
  • Strong command of SAT Reading and Writing content, including grammar, rhetoric, reading comprehension, and vocabulary in context
  • Previous experience teaching or tutoring high school students
  • Experience leading small-group or classroom instruction
  • Ability to teach clearly and engage students with different learning needs
  • Availability during weekday evenings and on Saturdays
  • Ability to commute reliably to San Jose, CA 95118
