Job description

Title: Electrical Liaison Engineer
Location: La Grange, IL
Hire Type: Long-Term Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Compensation: $55-$58/hour

Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Liaison Engineer to support manufacturing and engineering teams by identifying and resolving electrical design issues during production. This role acts as the front-line support between manufacturing and design engineering, ensuring products are built for manufacturability, efficiency, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with manufacturing to resolve electrical design and production issues
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and implement corrective actions on the production floor
• Review designs and ensure compliance with manufacturing capabilities (DFM)
• Support design reviews and provide feedback to engineering teams
• Document and communicate improvement opportunities to reduce rework and cost
• Analyze and support standardization and process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve design integration
• Support root cause analysis and quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s in Engineering preferred
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and schematic reading skills
• Understanding of electrical systems, components, and manufacturing processes
• Experience with engineering drawings and design interpretation
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing concepts
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
