Overview
MSA has an opportunity for an Engineering Technician II - Civil at our Milwaukee, WI office location. The Engineering Technician position supports engineers and designers by performing project tasks such as CAD drafting, plan set development, detailing, code reviews, submittal review, construction services, site observations, survey and staking, and other field work as necessary. This position is in our Public Works Service Line, with a wide variety of project types such as utilities, sanitary/sewer, roads, wastewater, and more.

  • Computations, reduction of field notes, filing and retrieving prints, and running prints

  • Completing redline revisions to plans

Skills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma required
  • Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related degree preferred
  • 2 or more years of related experience required
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • Prior experience with Civil 3D preferred
  • This position requires you to have authorization to work in the United States for any employer. We will not provide sponsorship for this position.

The compensation for this position ranges from $24 to $39 per hour, commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
