These internships allow participants to apply theoretical knowledge from their studies to real-world projects, learn industry-specific skills, and explore different engineering disciplines. Interns often work under the supervision of professional engineers, contributing to ongoing projects and tasks while expanding their professional network. Completing a summer engineering internship can enhance a resume and improve job prospects after graduation.

What types of projects can I expect to work on during an engineering summer internship?
