Job description

Job Description: SEACORP's Production Operations group is seeking a Program/Project Manager for a U.S. Navy program. The Program Manager is concerned with the overall planning, direction and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives which have great significance to the activities and customer's needs. Programs are typically large, multi-year efforts divided into several sub-programs/tasks. 

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for the overallprogram definition, organization, and direction of short- and long-range plans.This includes the responsibility for formulating, guiding, and directing thetechnical approach; and defining and negotiation with activity and customerpersonnel for necessary resources.
  • Establishment and control of technicalmilestones, schedules, budgets and costs are also essential tasks for theProgram Manager.
  • Serve as the main interface between the company and the government customer.
  • Work with Technical leads to define schedule and resources and coordinate internal personnel resources across multiple tasks.
  • Develop project spend plans for a variety of contract type efforts (CPFF, Cost, etc.)
  • Track all project budgets, deliverables and milestones to ensure successful project execution.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Collect and analyze cost performance data reports in order to identify cost, schedule, and performance trends and deviations and recommend corrective action.
  • Attend meetings and provide briefings technical, schedule, and cost performance.
