Quality Applications Engineer Hebron, Nebraska

Relocation Bonus Available

We are seeking a skilled Quality Applications Engineer to lead and oversee application-driven processes within our high-precision manufacturing facility. This role emphasizes engineering applications and process improvement, while maintaining strong focus on quality control. The ideal candidate will bring leadership skills, critical thinking abilities, and a background in engineering. This position will collaborate closely with the Applications Engineering team, Quality team, and Production Team to streamline communication and facilitate collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Applications Engineers to integrate innovative solutions that improve accuracy, manufacturability, and repeatability.
  • Take ownership of the Quality Department, executing quality control efforts and ensuring standards are consistently met across all production processes.
  • Develop, program, and train others on first-article processes, including program creation, operator procedures, and quality systems.
  • Seeking a quick learner who is driven and self-motivated, with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to find solutions to complex Quality challenges.
  • Foster teamwork, a positive work environment, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Strong leadership skills are a must.
  • Management experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong critical thinking and engineering-based problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience in engineering, or quality control is preferred.
  • Exposure to machining, computational logic, GD&T, and CMM programming knowledge is a plus but not required.
