Responsibilities :

  • Responsibility for Program Management insuring defined metric attainment and customer satisfaction
  • Business Growth
  • Support new business quotations with Sales to obtain system growth opportunities
  • Team Management:
  • Lead the cross-functional program team to achieve defined program metrics
  • Obtain required cross-functional support from functional managers
  • Manage customer expectations
  • Establish and maintain an effective system of communication and information flow cross functionally
  • Drive program team to adhere to methods, procedures and responsibilities defined in INPRO
  • Perform supervisory duties for program engineers assigned to group
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities
  • Must successfully complete all Plastic Omnium required training
  • Must comply with all work rules, policies and procedures
  • Must comply with all safety rules and regulations
  • Provide support to other positions as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Manage Program Success:
  • Achieve and exceed financial objectives (EBIT, ROCE, Material Margin)
  • Achieve and exceed manufacturing launch metrics
  • Achieve and exceed defined quality metrics
  • Manage Plastic Omnium and customer defined timing
  • Manage program budgets (Prototype, Production Tooling and Capital)
  • Manage Stop-Invest following program approval
  • Support Sales group
  • Assist in defining metrics
  • Define Term and Objectives
  • Distribute tasks APQP
  • Customer Point Contact

Ideal Candidate Profile :

Personal Background

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Engineering or Business
  • Blow-Molded fuel system experience is a +
  • 5 + years of experience in Program Management managing Tiers 1 programs.


Skills and Abilities

  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic ability to navigate Internet and Intranet software packages
  • Ability to maintain working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Must be flexible, dependable and creative
