The Opportunity

Holloway Construction, Inc is seeking a Senior Civil Construction Project Manager to step into a high impact leadership role with direct access to company ownership and full operational autonomy.


Managing vital underground utility, wet infrastructure, and site development contracts across commercial, government, and federal sectors, you will influence how work gets executed in the field without corporate bottlenecks. This position offers a direct path to expand your executive footprint as our civil division continues regional expansion.


Key Responsibilities

  • Full Life Cycle Project Delivery: Direct all phases of civil infrastructure and underground utility projects from initial site development through final municipal and federal contract closeout.
  • Comprehensive Financial Management: Manage project financial lifecycles, including budgets, critical path schedules, billing support, change order negotiations, and profitability protection.
  • Field Workflow Alignment: Coordinate on site workflows with field superintendents and pipe crews to ensure strict alignment with engineering plans and project specifications.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Resolve real time logistical and engineering challenges regarding mass grading, trenching, asphalt paving, and wet utility installations.
  • Digital Contract Administration: Oversee the precise execution of RFIs, submittals, material submittals, and contract documentation to maintain clear project transparency.
  • Strategic Executive Collaboration: Collaborate directly with company ownership to streamline operations, refine field methodologies, and drive regional business expansion.


What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

Required

  • Core Civil Experience: Proven hands on experience managing underground utility, wet utilities, mass grading, trenching, and civil coordination projects.
  • Administrative Systems Proficiency: Strong technical skills with modern computing systems, including Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and mobile field management applications.
  • Office and Field Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead complex civil construction operations seamlessly from both administrative office and active field environments.
  • Contract Documentation Fluency: Proven expertise in managing construction documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change order pricing, and progress billing schedules.
  • Autonomous Profitability Mindset: Strong solutions oriented leadership mindset with the demonstrated ability to protect contract profitability independently.
  • Regional Mobility: Absolute willingness to travel up to 40 percent of working hours to various jobsite locations across the valley.
  • Driver Credentials: Valid California Driver License.


Preferred

  • Industry Tenure: 5 or more years of dedicated project management experience within civil infrastructure or general engineering construction.
  • Public Sector Track Record: Prior experience successfully delivering commercial, government, public works, or federal construction contracts.
  • Educational Background: High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or technical degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
  • Language Capabilities: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a strong plus.
