As a Silicon Program Manager within the Hardware Technology Engineering organization, you will be responsible for driving front-end silicon program schedules and resolving technical issues that enable on-time silicon. This is an individual contributor role, helping manage the development process for SOC silicon used in next-generation Apple products. The focus of this role is on the initial phases of architecture, specifications, design, and pre-silicon prototyping to initial samples. Interaction and coordination with post-silicon validation teams is also encouraged.
Description
- Work on a Program Management team orchestrating technical issue resolution to enable on-time silicon to meet daring product schedules of groundbreaking silicon
- Drive internal program process to guarantee high-quality silicon definition and design execution
- Support high-level milestone execution in a fast-paced design team
- Interface and drive silicon issues within multi-functional teams: Design, Verification, Validation, Technology, System Hardware, and Core Software
- Focus design teams on meeting near-term achievements and unblocking technical issues by pulling together the right technical specialists to resolve the issues with data driven decision-making
- Run dependencies across various programs, functional teams, and sites
- Coordination and management with other organizations (Systems, SW, Ops)
- Attend and drive technical sessions with suppliers/design partners to supervise and follow-up issues and customer concerns
- Focused issue reporting, bug tracking and communication of program risks & status
Minimum Qualifications
BS + minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Requires experience in SoC/VLSI Chip Design, ASIC Chip Design, or Technology process development
Experience working in a multifaceted engineering environment, strong at multi-tasking, and real-time crisis management
Apply LLM tools and agentic frameworks (e.g., Claude Code) to streamline PM workflows; stay current on Apple's internal AI capabilities and support teammates in adopting relevant tools and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical Program or Project Management or Functional Management experience
Phenomenal leadership and interpersonal skills (Executive communication)
Expertise owning and driving project development using well-defined metrics
Experience working with ASIC & VLSI design flows and leading silicon projects from concept to production
Programming language experience (Javascript, Python, Perl)
Familiarity with project management tools (Confluence, JIRA)|
