Responsibilities:
  • Oversee multi-disciplinary program support across Navy maintenance, modernization, inactivation, and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)
  • Provide both administrative and technical leadership to ensure successful contract execution
  • Manage overall contract performance, including cost control, schedule adherence, and quality outcomes
  • Monitor and control expenditures in alignment with approved budget allocations
  • Plan, recruit, and allocate staffing resources to meet project milestones and deliverables
  • Ensure timely and high-quality fulfillment of contract requirements for diverse customer needs
  • Review operational reports and activity records to assess progress toward program objectives
  • Adjust methodologies and redirect efforts as needed to achieve desired outcomes
  • Supervise, coordinate, and mentor assigned personnel to maintain high performance standards
  • Serve as primary point of contact for customer engagement and program management support

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or DAWIA Level III in Program Management
  • Active Secret Level Security Clearance
  • 15 years DoD/Navy program management, Government technical management, or industry business management
  • Experience in management of engineering projects involving maintenance, repair, test, product improvement, or alteration of naval ship Hull, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic and Ordnance Systems and Equipment
  • Ability to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. The exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job, but no less than 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work on and climb ladders, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces.
Desired, but not required:
  • Masterโ€™s Degree in technical or managerial discipline
  • Experience with the development, modification, and reviewal of Naval shipboard technical documentation
  • DoD material acquisition procedures experience
  • Experience working with Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Naval Shipyard, Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion and Repair and Type Commandersโ€™ organizations
