Job description


Position is for a Program Manager I: The candidate shall support daily program activities of the NSWCPD DDG In-Service/ Readiness Program, Code 222.
  • The candidate will support the NSWCPD Program Manager in the execution of their duties through the tracking of key schedule milestones, deliverables, action items, procurements, financial metrics and Value Management tracking and updates.
  • The candidate should have experience in program/project management to include engineering, financial management, risk management, scheduling, planning, and oversight task progress.
  • The candidate shall provide updates for meetings and program reviews as required by the program. Program review updates shall typically be provided via Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Excel.
  • The candidate shall have knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel and should know how to create and manage formulas, set up conditional formatting, create bars, line charts/graphs, and perform data imports and exports.
  • The candidate will be required to support meetings in Philadelphia monthly and must be able to attend all required customer meetings.

Required Skills and Experiences:
  • Minimum Experience: Five (5) years of professional experience in program/project management to include engineering, financial management, risk management, scheduling, planning, and oversight task progress.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Department of Defense or U.S. Navy programs or operations.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • A secret security clearance.

Degree Requirements:
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's level degree in any technical or managerial discipline.
