Job description

Job Summary:
Centuria is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) delivering IT, Engineering, and Scientific solutions to the Federal Government since 2002. The Program Manager will oversee large-scale projects, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure successful program execution while fostering team collaboration and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Develop budgets and scheduling staff across multiple, simultaneous efforts
• Ensures that program execution properly meets the requirements of the contract and develops policies and procedures to adjust program activities for customer satisfaction
• Manage large scale projects as a Prime within the Government space that involves over 90+ staff and multiple sub-contractors
• Have the ability to take highly technical information and translate it to understandable terms and examples.
• Empower team to be fully functional and productive by working in close cooperation across roles and functions, internal and external to the technology team
• Review and recommend solutions to remove barriers to incremental progress and shield the team from external interference
• Promote continuous improvement by frequent operational interactions and assessments
• Responsible for on-time development and delivery of all Program related deliverables
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Develop new business within the existing program
• Manage shared resources, budgets, time estimates and scheduling
• Perform project quality reviews
• Resolve conflicts between government clients, Centuria team and sub-contractors
• Report status to customers and sponsors
• Develop and deliver proposals in response to US Government Task Orders
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
Required:
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible IT professional management experience in DoD environments.
• Experience should include administrative oversight handling of DoD contractual matters.
• Corporate management ability to provide overall technical, schedule, and cost direction while serving as a liaison between the Government representative and the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
• Demonstrable experience in writing business/project plans, technical documents, presentations and proposals required.
• Individual must have high degree of skills with the MS Office toolsets.
• Clearance: DoD Secret (w/ability to get TS)
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related field is preferred.
