Company Overview
Pantheon Data (a Kenific Holding company) is a private, small business based in the Washington, DC, area. Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Our service offerings have grown in the past ten years, including infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. We have also grown our customer base to include commercial clients. The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Program Manager with background in managing communication programs to lead a complex, multi-year government contract.
The Project Manager supports our DOD Customers Office of Corporate Communication by providing management support that coordinates and executes projects for public affairs, congressional affairs, visual information and multimedia, and technical library/archive, aligning with the client's mission and goals, providing training and development to maintain skills and follow industry standards.
Responsibilities
  • Manage communications and creative teams and output for a brand, specific marketing piece, campaign, or event from the early concept stages through to production, including the people, processes, and technologies to make it happen.
  • Develop ideas, head brainstorming sessions, collaborate with department leads to create a shared vision, and coordinates activities of the design team to complete projects.
  • Plan and develop a project management process for each campaign and present design concepts and creative ideas to clients and upper management.
  • Meet with client and management teams to determine needs.
  • Oversee daily activities tied to creative production.
  • Facilitate creative project kickoffs, provide analysis to ensure the project stays within required standards, and troubleshoot issues that arise.
  • Provide quality review of public affairs products, so they clearly and logically convey complex information and ideas (such as presentations, press releases, briefs, audits, communications plans, still or video photography and post-production editing).
  • Responsible for the development, submission, and presentation of monthly labor and cost summaries as well as project status reports.
  • Interact with both company leaders and third party/vendor resources, as well as coordinate activities across teams.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a relevant field of study or experience in a related area within DoD/Navy programs.
  • Working knowledge of NAVSEA, Congress, the Navy and Department of Defense.
  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative oversight.
  • Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Education
Bachelor's degree in English or Communications.
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Work Location: Washington Navy Yard; Onsite 5 days per week

Compensation
The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $162,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
