Position Overview
The Operations Manager leads daily plant operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. This role drives operational excellence through leadership, process improvement, and data-driven decision-making. The position partners cross-functionally to ensure efficient, compliant, and reliable production while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead daily plant operations to meet safety, quality, and production targets
  • Allocate staffing and resources based on production plans and demand
  • Implement Lean practices and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Coach and develop supervisors and production team members
  • Track and analyze KPIs; implement corrective actions for performance gaps
  • Partner with supply chain, finance, and operations teams to meet service and cost goals
  • Manage departmental spending and support inventory and planning activities

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a multi-shift manufacturing environment
  • Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience leading projects or process improvement initiatives
  • Authorization to work without employer sponsorship

Preferred Requirements
  • Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Experience in chemical, industrial, or process manufacturing
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems
  • Experience with KPI reporting, cost analysis, and data-driven decision-making

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $115,000-$140,000.
