Location: Remote - Hartford, CT
Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)
Contract Length: 12 months (possible extension)

Summary of the Role
Support the global distribution organization of a large biotech pharmaceutical leader by designing, developing, and implementing AI, GenAI, custom GPT, automation, and data-enabled solutions to enhance business processes and operational efficiency. Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, build scalable digital solutions, and ensure compliance and scalability. This hands-on role is ideal for a technical developer who thrives in translating business challenges into practical technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and implement AI, GenAI, custom GPT, automation, and data-driven solutions
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and identify digital automation opportunities
  • Build and configure AI tools, automation workflows, and data analytics solutions using various platforms and coding languages
  • Write or adapt code, scripts, and workflows as needed to solve business problems
  • Ensure digital and AI solutions are secure, scalable, compliant, and sustainable
  • Support data standardization, data transformation, and validation efforts
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, prototypes, MVPs, and scalable solutions
  • Document technical designs, workflows, business rules, data logic, and support procedures
  • Test, validate, troubleshoot, and enhance digital or AI-enabled solutions
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Experience & Skills
  • Hands-on experience developing AI, GenAI, automation, analytics, or digital workflow solutions
  • Ability to build or configure custom GPTs, AI assistants, chatbots, or GenAI-enabled solutions
  • Experience writing or adapting code, scripts, workflows, or automation logic
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, JavaScript, Power Platform, Power Automate, APIs, or similar tools
  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, Power Apps, Databricks, Snowflake, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, SharePoint, Jira, or Confluence
  • Experience with embedding, semantic search, vector databases, and document intelligence
  • Understanding of prompt engineering, AI solution design, workflow automation, and data transformation
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience with structured and unstructured data processing, including extraction, cleansing, mapping, validation, and transformation
  • Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation skills
  • Collaboration skills for working with business and technical teams
