  • Lead and oversee a team of engineers located across the globe, furnishing them with mentorship, direction, and assistance to nurture their professional growth.
  • Foster close collaboration with cross-functional groups, encompassing product management, design, and quality assurance, to ensure the successful release of top-notch software products.
  • Take responsibility for project schedules, resources, and deliverables, guaranteeing that the team fulfills commitments and project aims for cloud-based solutions.
  • Offer technical leadership by consistently evaluating and enhancing engineering procedures, tools, and methodologies. Keep abreast of the latest trends and finest practices in the domain, deciding when and how to incorporate them.

Job Requirements:

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; possession of an advanced degree is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Engineering Manager, overseeing globally dispersed engineering teams in dynamic settings.
  • A verifiable history of successfully deploying intricate B2B applications, preferably having taken startups from inception to initial release.
  • Proficiency in cloud architecture and services, coupled with a solid grasp of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with data engineering, data science, machine learning, and/or developing LLM (Language Model) products.
  • Profound knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and a demonstrated record of steering and cultivating engineering talent (both domestic and international), extending guidance and support to foster professional growth in cloud technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, underscored by the capability to collaborate efficiently with multifunctional teams and stakeholders concerning cloud-based solutions.
  • Prior experience using data-driven decision-making frameworks for management and work execution.
  • Knowledge of Twilio or other telecommunication systems is an advantageous addition.
