Fincantieri Marine Group is hiring a Program Management Intern in the Program Management Department at our Marinette, WI location.

Position Summary
The Program Management Intern is responsible for providing support to the progam management office. This role will have close contact with the Program Manager and various internal departments to assist in the preparation of weekly program metrics including variance analysis, tracking of change and production.
Domestic travel may be required.
Essential Functions
  • Production: Monitoring production progress through weekly performance reports, monitoring and tracking all Late to Issue Production Orders, preparation of weekly program metrics to include variance analysis, tracking of change, rework and weekly highlights
  • Material: Reconciliation of all government furnished property for program, tracking of outstanding GFP, GFE and MMC Long lead equipment to support production, tracking of outstanding Hardware Problem Reports (HPR) generated because of missing/damaged material associated with the above-mentioned material, monitoring and tracking production impact associated with late material receipt
  • Quality: Monitoring and tracking to closure all Corrective Action Reports (CAR), ABS Comments (local surveyor initiated) and Request for Deviation (RFD) and Justification for Technical Dispositions (JTD) necessary to provide closure
  • Trials and Launch: Monitoring and tracking actions required to prepare and track progress to Launch including Testing (Scheduled Pre-Launch), Ship watertight integrity (structure, piping, HVAC and Electrical), along with facility preparations (Production and Ceremonial) and assisting in the preparation of the Launch Readiness Review to be conducted with the Local and Washington Navies.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Must have ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor
  • Must adhere to ISO and OSHA policies established by FMG and have high values for safety awareness

Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent and enrolled in a university or college with a goal of achieving a engineering or technical degree
